The level is centered around a large waterfall. Mario begins at the base, where he must ascend it on many platforms surrounding it. Several enemies surround it such as Goombas and new Cannon Bob-ombs, who also have their Ability Panels introduced. The flagpole is located at the very top of the waterfall, near a section where Mario must make a leap of faith or risk death.

Star Panels[]

  • Star Panel 1: The first Star Panel is located near the start of the level. Mario must use the Cannon Bob-omb Ability Panel to enter a cannon and shoot himself to a ledge on the side of the mountain, where some Used Blocks are barring a passage. Mario must explode to break them, and then head into a small tunnel where the Star Panel is.
