Oddish (Japanese: ナゾノクサ Nazonokusa) is a dual-type Template:GrassTemplate:Poison Pokémon. They debuted in Generation I and are #043 in the National and Kanto Pokedex. Their latest appearence was in Generation VI.

It evolves into Gloom starting at level 21, which evolves into Vileplume when exposed to a Leaf Stone or into Bellossom when exposed to a Sun Stone. As of Gen VI, they can evolve right into Vileplume with help from an Odd Incense.

Oddish resembles a plant bulb with round feet. Its body is blue in coloration, and it has beady red eyes. It has five green leaves sprouting from its head with the top of the center leaf bending backwards. Oddish effected by Brighton in Pokemon Light Version or Darkon in Pokemon Dark Version will grow scales and a fin on their back.

Oddish live in grassy plains, and can also be found in tropical areas such as jungles and swamps, where the ground is rich in nutrients. They are very common, being native to Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh. They have also been recorded living in White Forest in Unova.

Fanon Game AppearancesEdit

Pokemon Light and Dark VersionsEdit

In the 3DS games Pokemon Light and Dark, Oddish appear in the forsts of Grogtown.Because Odd Icenses can be bought near the forest, it is a good idea to wait till you reach the end, buy the Icense and return to catch a Oddish. This is because they require a low amount of Exp. to level up, and could easily evolve before you get the Incense.

Pokemon Rock Ruby and Steel SapphireEdit

Being a remake of Ruby and Sapphire, Oddish appear on Routes 110, 117, 119, 120, and 123. They can also be found in the Safari Zone.
