(originally Mars) is the 17 year old blue-haired prince of Altea and an indirect descendant of the hero if Altea who slayed the dark wizard and dragon, Medeus. He is noble and just, though can be naive and childish with those he feels comfortable with. Marth's appearance in Super Smash Bros. 4 was based upon Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, though Fracas introduced a Fire Emblem: Awakening-inspired design. He is voiced by Hikaru Midorikawa, and speaks Japanese in all versions of the game.
Lucina
Marth has an alternate costume in Lucina, who is his descendant. Lucina shares the same attacks as Marth, as well as the same stats in speed and attack power. Lucina is voiced by Laura Bailey in English and Yuu Kobayashi in Japanese.
